With so many doom and gloom stories out there on the web today, here’s a little good news to brighten your day.
The Boys & Girls Club of Calgary needed to refurbish their gymnasium. In Alberta with high unemployment, rising taxes and low oil prices, the cost to do the repairs seemed a daunting task. However, Bell Canada and the NBA partnered together to make it happen. After it was all finished there was a news conference scheduled for Saturday, October 1st 2016 to “unveil” the new gymnasium. Even the NBA superstar “Dr. J”, or Dr. Julius Irving was on hand for the event. Unfortunately, when the organizers unwrapped the huge floor graphics logo that was supplied to install the logo on the new floor –
It had somehow become damaged and was unusable. So, on Friday September 30th 2016 in the late afternoon, that’s when Process Color got the call. The event was scheduled for Saturday and it was already 4:00 pm on Friday afternoon, the Boys & Girls Club asked “Can you reproduce and install a huge floor graphic before the news conference?” Yes, we can! Our team of professionals leapt into action and smoother than a globetrotter offensive attack the project was completed and installed ready to go on time.
The news conference went off really well, the Boys & Girls Club had a great time and the new gymnasium is ready to be used for many years to come.
Process Color would like to take this opportunity to give a special thanks to all of those who work so hard and give their time every week to make the Boys & Girls Club a success in Calgary.
